Job Summary:
We are seeking diligent and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving and storing inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. As a Warehouse Worker, you will ensure the efficient and accurate handling of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inventory:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
Verify the accuracy of delivery documents and inventory.
Unload and store materials in appropriate locations.
Order Preparation:
Pick and pack items according to order specifications.
Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they are correctly labeled and securely packed.
Load shipments onto delivery trucks.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
Equipment Operation:
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Conduct routine checks and maintenance of equipment.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and received goods.
Complete necessary paperwork for inventory and shipments.
Report any issues or discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
Assist with training new employees as needed.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
Skills:
Basic understanding of inventory management.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Basic math skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
