Job Summary:
We are looking for reliable and experienced Drivers to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of Dubai’s roads and traffic regulations and will be responsible for transporting goods and passengers safely and efficiently. As a Driver, you will ensure timely delivery and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation:
- Safely transport goods and passengers to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules.
- Load and unload cargo as required.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Report any mechanical issues or damage to the vehicle promptly.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition.
Customer Service:
- Interact with clients and passengers professionally and courteously.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading their belongings.
- Provide information about routes, schedules, and services when needed.
Compliance:
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure all relevant documentation, including licenses and permits, is up to date.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and safety.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Complete any required paperwork related to deliveries and passenger transport.
- Educational and Experience Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous driving experience, especially in a professional capacity, is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Dubai roads and traffic regulations.
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle unexpected situations and troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Basic math skills for handling delivery and mileage logs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Experience with different types of vehicles (e.g., cars, vans, trucks).
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
